The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut is proud to present a special holiday gathering. Danbury Native Summer “Soulstress” Williams returns to celebrate her published book release in her hometown with live music performances, food, drinks and the presenting of her “My Inner Soulstress” songwriting journal. A festive evening with a sultry live music performance at 8 pm, followed immediately after with an after party to dance, laugh and mingle.

Bring a gift! A toy and coat drive will be held all night for the youth at the Harambee Youth Center, as well as a portion of the nights proceeds. Entry is free with a toy or coat donation. Soul food menu and holiday cheer available all night.

After moving to New York to pursue a music career, Williams has done just that, singing her r&b soul stylings live with her band all over the city at venues such as B.B. Kings, Milk River, SOB’s, Sugar Bar and more. Williams has been featured on various major music sites like ThisIs50, SoulBounce, Vibe Magazine online and ThisIsRnB for her original music.
